Prompt: In Into the Wild, Christopher McCandless gives up many of his possessions in pursuit of freedom and meaningful experiences. If you had to simplify your life and keep only a few important possessions, what would you keep and why? What would be hardest to leave behind?

Prompt Response: If I could only keep a few important possessions, I would keep my clothes, my phone, and my earbuds. I would obviously keep my clothes, I don't think that needs an explanation. My phone. I would keep that because phones are very useful tools and also a way to pass the time. I would keep my earbuds so I can listen to music and chill. My laptop would be the hardest to leave behind because I spent so much money on that thing and also because I love using it.

Summary: In class we read chapter 4 and answered questions in writable.

Reflection: I understand that McCandless was looking for freedom and all that, but could he have waited for his car's engine to dry instead of just leaving it behind. Other than that, the book is good so far.
