Prompt: Today you created similes and metaphors that reflect your struggles, growth, and resilience. In a well-developed paragraph, reflect on the process. What did you learn about yourself while writing your figurative language?

Prompt Response: One thing I learned for sure is that I have the memory of a goldfish. On a serious note, I learned that I might have to put some more work into mastering metaphors. I believe I'm fine with making similes and understanding them. I also learned that there are a lot of challenges that I am facing and that I have to overcome. I hope to do so and overcome.

summary: Today in class we wrote similes and metaphors about our personal challenges and how we've overcame them.

Reflection: I'm happy with my progress on the assignment, I feel that I made a lot of progress.
