 Prompt response: Today's lesson was so long that by the time we were dismissed, I had already graduated. The lesson had the class do a fair amount of work. However, the work assigned was no easy feat.

Reflection: Honestly the lesson confused me but I believe I understand it now.

 Prompt Response: My most unforgettable meal was the time I got McDonalds and the patty was raw. It was late afternoon and I went with my dad to get McDonalds for my family. After reading “Out, Out—” by Robert Frost, reflect on a time when you faced a dangerous or high-pressure situation that demanded your complete focus. What made the situation risky, and how did your concentration affect the outcome?

 Prompt Response: When I was younger, around nine years old, I was at my cousin's house along with my brother. The neighborhood had a little playground in the middle and we all went there because my aunt made us go outside. My cousin's dog got out from the backyard and started sprinting toward me which was horrifying, but it got me and starting biting on my arm. I had to focus on keeping the dog away from my face and tried not to agitate it. It went on for around a minute or two but eventually his parents came outside and helped me. I only ended up with a little scar on my arm, but if I tried to fight it and agitated it, I feel like it would have turned out worse. Summary: In class we read the poem Birches by Robert Frost. Reflection: Life really can change in an instant which is kind of worrying to think about.

Prompt: Write about a time when you realized you needed to look out for yourself in a silly or harmless situation—maybe dodging a pop quiz, escaping a group chat argument, or remembering at the last second to submit an assignment. How did choosing wisely make your life easier?

 Prompt Response: It was late at night and I was about to head to bed, when I remembered that I had a quiz the next day in ap statistics. I was deciding if whether I should study or sleep because I felt sort of confident in the material. I decided to study before going to bed and I'm glad I did because the quiz was tough. However, the study session helped a bunch with the quiz. I was able to get an A on the quiz because of decision to study for the quiz instead of not and just going in blind. Summary: I was not here on the block day but the class finished reading the story "The Life You Save May Be Your Own." Reflection: I was not here this day and do not know how the story ended.
