Prompt: Write about something that you believed as a child.

Prompt response: As a child, I believed that people directly controlled traffic lights. I always thought that people were hired to just look at cameras and determine when to turn the lights green, yellow, or red. It was confusing to think about and understand how it would work. I also thought that they would purposely leave the lights red for a long time to annoy people. I believed that until I was around 11 years old and now I know that is not the case.

Summary: I was not present in class today but I believe the assignment was about defining words and using a picture along with the definition.

Reflection: I recognized some words but most of them are new.
