Prompt: Describe a time that you had an encounter with a homeless person, either directly or indirectly. What did you think and how did it make you feel?

Prompt Response: One day I was working with my dad and we went to get food. We went to a chick-fil-a and I went inside and ordered the food for us. When I left the chick-fil-a, there was a homeless man outside and I felt pity for him and I gave him the change I had from buying the food. He was thankful and I did not really talk to him but I felt really bad for him because of his situation. I feel bad for homeless people because they are often considered as bad people and drug addicts, things like that. However they are often a victim to difficult financial situations and I think its unfair that people look down at them and consider them as bad people.

Summary: We read "The life you save may be your own" by Flannery O'Conner.

Reflection: The story is sort of boring but I think the story will be about trust due to the homeless mans dialogue.
