Of today’s 15 vocabulary words, which three do you think you will use the most in your speaking and writing this semester? Explain why each word feels useful or powerful to you.

Prompt Response: Of the 15 vocabulary words, the three I believe I will use the most in speaking and writing this semester are affinity, amorphous, and adventitious. Affinity feels useful to me because it is used to describe a bond or connection between two things. In literature there are always instances of connections between things and that is why I believe affinity would be useful. Amorphous feels powerful because it describes things with no form and I feel can be used to describe some literature. Adventitious Also feels powerful because it can be used in many instances.

Summary: We had a class discussion about the writing process.

Reflection: I have a loose grasp on clustering because of determining what is a subtopic and what goes under a subtopic.
